Description
Refresh Contacts Lubricant Eye Drops are made for contact lens comfort, labeled to lubricate and rewet soft (hydrophilic) and rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses during the day while the lenses are on the eye.
The sterile, isotonic, buffered solution contains carboxymethylcellulose sodium and is preserved with PURITE (stabilized oxychloro complex). The carton states it contains no chlorhexidine, no thimerosal and no other mercury-containing ingredients. Each carton holds a 0.4 fl oz (12 mL) bottle.

How to use
TO LUBRICATE AND REWET LENSES DURING THE DAY: With the lenses on the eye, apply 1 to 2 drops to each eye as needed, or as directed by your eye care practitioner. Blink several times. You may keep your contacts in upon application. FOR EXTRA COMFORT: Place 1 or 2 drops of REFRESH CONTACTS® Lubricant Eye Drops on each side of each lens before application.
Ingredients
Sterile, isotonic, buffered, and preserved solution containing carboxymethylcellulose sodium, sodium chloride, boric acid, sodium borate decahydrate, potassium chloride, calcium chloride dihydrate, magnesium chloride hexahydrate, purified water, and is preserved with PURITE® (stabilized oxychloro complex). This formula may also contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide to adjust pH. This preparation contains no chlorhexidine, no thimerosal, and no other mercury-containing ingredients.
Cautions
If you are allergic to any ingredient in this product, DO NOT USE. PRECAUTIONS: Keep bottle tightly closed when not in use. For in-eye use only. Do not use in the lens case. Store at 59°-77°F (15°-25°C). Use before the expiration date marked on the bottle label and carton. Discard 90 days after opening. If solution changes color or becomes cloudy, or if the packaging shows evidence of tampering, do not use. Keep out of reach of children.
